Offshore Construction

As an offshore construction supervisor with Technip we have the benefit of working alongside some of the most talented people in the Gulf of Mexico and North Sea and Northeast Atlantic. Their attitude toward quality, safety and problem solving is something that leaves a lasting impression.  It is this pragmatic and safety conscious attitude we offer our customers as standard to be expected from our work.  Some of the components and projects where we have experience include risers, flexible and ridged jumpers, flying leads, heavy and light structure installation, pile deployment, installation and recovery, pipeline installation support, metrology, survey and concrete mattress installation.  As a supervisor it is our responsibility to ensure safe and efficient project execution according to project procedures.   Our primary function is to direct and coordinate the vessel departments including (2) working class remotely operated vehicle, survey crew, crane personnel, deck personnel, 3rd party contractors and the vessel bridge/navigation.  We are heavily involved with development, review and implement project procedures, risk assessments, management of change, tool box talks, job risk assessments and shift change meetings.  Vessel bill rates start around $150,000 and can run well over $500,000 per day.
